You may be eligible for the W-2 Transitions (W-2 T) Program.
To be eligible for the W-2 T, you must be unable to perform independent, self-sustaining work due to employment barriers. W-2 T participants receive a monthly payment of $608 and are assisted in applying for federal Supplemental Security Insurance (SSI) benefits. To be eligible for W-2 T, your income must be at or below 115% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
Ex: A family of three could be made up of the custodial parent and two children. This family would need to earn $22,759 or less per year, or $1,897 or less per month to be eligible for this program.
