Assembly Passes Budget, Which Now Heads to Governor Walker for Potential Vetoes and His Signature7/9/2015
The state Assembly passed the state budget in an identical form as passed by the state Senate. 11 Republicans voted with all of the chamber's Democrats to oppose the bill, which passed on a vote of 52-46.

It is also problematic because federal law does not allow states to create additional eligibility criteria for the program, and federal law does not list passing a drug test as on of the eligibility criterion for the program. Comments are closed.
